About Suzanne
Suzanne Blezard is a strategic and relationship-driven consultant with more than 20 years of experience helping hospitality organizations build meaningful connections, deliver exceptional experiences, and strengthen stakeholder engagement. Known for aligning operational excellence with purpose, she brings deep hospitality and event planning expertise, a collaborative leadership style, and a proven ability to design enduring systems and build effective partnerships.
Suzanne discovered the hospitality and events industries by way of an early career as a dancer and choreographer. She went on to hold leadership roles with Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group, Convene, and Saks Fifth Avenue, where she managed large-scale event operations, led high-performing teams, and launched partnership programs.
Most recently, Suzanne served as Senior Director of Events and Guest Relations at José Andrés Group, where she built and led cross-functional teams responsible for guest experience, communications, and private event strategy across multiple properties. She created the company’s first guest relations department, implemented scalable service and training frameworks, and drove significant revenue growth while fostering a culture of care, inclusion, and excellence.
In the fall of 2025, Suzanne launched her work as a hospitality leadership, operations, and events consultant. She partners with organizations to optimize operations and design strategies that support investment in people, business growth, and mission.
Originally from Rochester, NY, Suzanne holds a B.A. from Connecticut College. She holds a Certificate in Corporate Sustainability from NYU Stern and has completed a Human Resources Management program at Rutgers University.
Outside of her professional work, she served as Recording Secretary on the board of the Brooklyn Arts Exchange for six years and has been an active volunteer in school district programs in her current hometown of Maplewood, NJ. A parent to a high school junior and college sophomore, Suzanne has recently rediscovered her love of dance and also enjoys fiber arts, cooking, and visiting farmers markets wherever she travels.
